First World War Military Research

"Croonaert Research Services" are pleased to be able to offer a competitively priced research service to all those who require information on British soldiers who fought during the First World War.
After providing us with as much information as possible about the soldier you want to be researched, we will construct for you a dossier containing details of his and his unit's service during World War One. Most of this research is conducted at a fixed price, however, we are available for individually priced commissions on certain subjects including some WW2 soldiers and servicemen/units of other armies. We will endeavour to get this information to you within 8 weeks , however, for certain individuals and subjects, this may require a little longer. Please email us about any of the options listed below or any individual project you require.
We are also available for talks and displays on a variety of First World War subjects some of which are adaptable to be of interest to a variety of different age ranges and levels of expertise. We can also offer self-drive battlefield tour routes customised to your own individual needs/interests. Again, please contact us for further details.

Option 2 - the main package (complete Service biography) - both casualty and non-casualty...
We charge £20 per hour for research time which includes work at the National Archives at Kew along with several other sources such as regimental archives, libraries, etc. , and £10 per hour for the accumulation of all found information, publishing, etc. Any photocopying costs or other expenses are included in this charge and will not be added on afterwards.
As we have full confidence in our experience and abilities in researching soldiers, we operate using quotes and not estimates, so that the price that we quote is the final price - there will be no extra fees afterwards. If we make a misjudgement on the length of time the research will take, then that will be to our own detriment and not yours - We won't be charging for the extra hours taken.
The end result of the research will be an attractive, professionally bound dossier/book with your soldier's story written up in a biographical style. Some of these have been up to 120 pages in length! Any documents, photos, etc that have been copied will be supplied along with this dossier and they can also be supplied on a CD-ROM at your request.
In the case of the subject being a casualty, all items from the "Option 1" package would also be included.
