These plaques are visually perfect in colour, size and detail and would be ideal framed along with the medals and/or Memorial Scroll of the original subject. Unlike most (all?) of the replicas available today, these plaques are individually named to your requirements with the lettering being raised as was the case in the originals (as opposed to a blank name-box being stamped or inscribed as appears to be the case in the majority of replicas).
In order that these plaques cannot be used for deception purposes, they have been manufactured in polyresin and to a far to a lighter weight than the originals and have an additional disc cast to the rear to enable ease of framing and also to add extra strength to the plaque*. From the front, however, it would be difficult to immediately tell the difference between these replicas and an original (especially if mounted) without actually touching them.

(* due to early casting problems, current and future discs are actually cast at double thickness as can be seen in the "plaque collection" photograph (top of the page). This, along with improved lettering and a crisper finish lead to a far more satisfactory end product)
Due to the near impossibility of actually obtaining an original plaque named to your subject (unless it's whereabouts is actually known or your subject's name is extremely common), these replicas make the ideal gap-filler for a collection or display.
